Members of the Korean Children’s Union held colourfulevents throughout the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on June 6 in celebration of the 77th anniversary of their organization. The annual event included artistic performances and sports and amusement games. 

The country enforces universal 12-year compulsory education.
