Pyongyang- Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Uganda President , Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Aug. 1.

The Ugandan president in his message extended his sincere and warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the government and people of the DPRK on behalf of the Ugandan people and government and on his own behalf on the occasion of the DPRK’s day of national liberation, August 15, 2023.

The president expressed belief that the good cooperative relations between the two countries would further develop in the interests of the peoples of the two countries and in the direction of promoting peace, stability and international cooperation.

He reaffirmed the invariable support for the development of the bilateral relations.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and great success in his noble work.

He also hoped that the friendly people of the DPRK would continue to achieve peace and prosperity.
