While speaking to the to the FRANCE24 ,Ugandas opposition leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine. The star musician-turned-politician called for “civil disobedience, a moral uprising, a revolution” in Uganda, which has been ruled for 38 years by President Yoweri Museveni. “I fear for my life because I know that the regime is bent on eliminating all kind of challenges,” said Wine, who was recently placed under house arrest and whose driver was shot dead in 2018. The next elections in Uganda are scheduled for 2026.

According to him ”we need to look at all the necessary lawful means to over throw the existing president Museveni before 2026 ,because he will do the same thing which he did in 2016 on kiiza Byesigye and I in 2021 so we have no hope that Museveni can organize a free and fair election.

He also accused Museveni of being in plan of bringing his son to inherit him despite him being a serving military officer, but unfortunately he moves all round the country with the military officers guarding him.On the issue of LGBT law which was passed long time ago Bobi said he will respect all aspects of human rights.
