Mayiga officially sends marriage blessings to his son

In his home at Lweza the Katikilo of Buganda Charles Peter Mayega organized a party with the presence of Bishop Paul Ssemwogerere .

The aim of this was purposely to give blessings to his son and the daughter in law so that they can have an everlasting relationship and even to put them in the hands of God to bless their marriage .

In his speech he said that “previously when people get married the parents from both sides have to get time and organize a function so that they can give blessings to the couple ,which I have decided to do today.”

During the function Bishop Paul Ssemwogerere encouraged others to pick example from the son Charles Peter Mayiga to take marriage as an important issue since even in the Bible when Adam and Eve committed a sin God didn’t abolish marriage which means marriage is very important. He gave a gift to the son as a sign of appreciation.
