Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Credentials for UNDP Resident Representative to Uganda.

Kampala – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Gen Odongo Jeje Abubakher, has officially received the credentials for Mrs. Nwanneakolam Vwede-Obahor, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Uganda.

In a ceremony held this morning, Minister Odongo warmly welcomed Mrs. Vwede-Obahor and congratulated her on her appointment as the UNDP Resident Representative to Uganda. The exchange of credentials marks the formal beginning of Mrs. Vwede-Obahor’s tenure in Uganda and symbolizes the strengthening of ties between the country and the UNDP.

During the ceremony, Minister Odongo expressed confidence in Mrs. Vwede-Obahor’s abilities and her potential to make significant contributions to furthering the partnership between Uganda and the UNDP. He reiterated Uganda’s commitment to supporting the mission of the UNDP and ensuring a conducive environment for its work in the country.
