Senior citizens pay tribute to the deceased husband of Uganda minister.

KAMPALA, UGANDA-Senior citizens are gathering at the home of Hon. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, a Buganda Kingdom official and the Ugandan Minister for ICT and National Guidance, to pay their respects to her late husband, Eng. Daniel Sebugwawo.

Eng. Sebugwawo passed away last night following surgery at a hospital in Kampala. A vigil is being held in his honor at their home in Nalya.

Several senior citizens are in attendance, including Buganda Queen Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, cabinet ministers, members of parliament, Buganda officials, businesspeople, and others. Many mourners have praised Eng. Sebugwawo for his remarkable service to the Buganda Kingdom and the central government.

He was born on December 23, 1936.

There will be a Thanksgiving service at Namirembe Cathedral on Sunday, December 22. The late Eng. Sebugwawo will be laid to rest at the family burial grounds in Nkumba, along Kasenyi Road, on Monday, December 23 at his very birth day at 89.
