KAMPALA- UGANDA-Sporadic Rains in Kampala have disrupted business operations in Kampala.
The unpredictable rainfall has caused widespread disruption to business activities across the city. The heavy downpours, often arriving without warning, have left roads flooded, markets waterlogged, and transportation services severely affected.
Many traders have reported reduced customer traffic as shoppers avoid the inconvenience of navigating through waterlogged streets. Additionally, power outages triggered by the rains have further hindered business operations, particularly for small enterprises reliant on electricity.
The situation has highlighted the urgent need for improved drainage systems and infrastructure to mitigate the impact of such weather events. Until long-term solutions are implemented, the city’s businesses may continue to suffer from the economic setbacks caused by sporadic rainfall.

Road users are finding alternative means with pedestrians paying bodybuilders carrying then to across the flooded roads.
