In a message shared on his X account, President Yoweri Museveni called on leaders and supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) to ensure their names are correctly updated on the registers. He also emphasized the importance of removing the names of deceased individuals and registering new voters who have reached the voting age of 18.

Museveni’s directive highlights the critical role of an accurate voter register in ensuring free and fair elections. NRM leaders are expected to mobilize their communities to actively participate in this exercise, laying the groundwork for the upcoming elections.
