SPORTS: Manchester United have reached out to Arsenal regarding highly-rated 18-year-old talent Ayden Heaven.

United are currently leading the race to secure the young prospect, but competition is heating up, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona also making approaches for the player.

Arsenal, keen to retain Heaven, have already offered him a new contract in an effort to fend off interest from rival clubs. The situation remains fluid as negotiations continue.

Manchester United have reportedly contacted Arsenal regarding the signing of 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven, according to renowned Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Heaven, a graduate of Arsenal’s academy, made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against Preston North End last October. His performances have drawn attention not just from United but also from Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona. However, the Red Devils are currently leading the race and are keen to bring him to Old Trafford.

Arsenal remain determined to retain their prized prospect and have offered him a new contract. However, the allure of a move elsewhere, particularly to United, may tempt the England youth international.

This would not be the first time Manchester United have raided Arsenal’s youth ranks; they successfully signed Danish striker Chido Obi-Martin from the Gunners last summer.

Heaven, who was heavily involved in Arsenal’s first-team training during the 2024 preseason, was part of the matchday squad for the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur in September before making his official debut the following month.

The versatile youngster, capable of playing as a center-back, box-to-box midfielder, and left-back, has impressed United scouts, who see him as a potential Premier League star. His adaptability and promise have made him a priority target as the transfer window edges closer to its conclusion.
