Ugandan music star King Saha’s highly anticipated concert, scheduled for today, January 24, 2025, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, has officially been given the green light by the Uganda Police Force.
The event faced uncertainty after police initially halted it on January 23, citing safety concerns, particularly regarding the structural integrity of the venue’s pavilion and insufficient inspection. The suspension sparked outrage among fans, with many taking to social media to label the move as political interference and unfair treatment of the artist.
In a statement released this morning, the Uganda Police announced that following discussions with event organizers, venue managers, and a joint security team, the concert could proceed under strict safety conditions. As part of the agreement, the pavilion area will remain restricted due to structural risks.

Fans attending the event are urged to follow safety guidelines set by both the police and the organizers to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
Tickets for the concert remain available in the following categories:
Ordinary: UGX 30,000
VIP: UGX 50,000
Tables: UGX 3,000,000
King Saha has expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and promised a spectacular performance to make the night unforgettable.
