Palestine Square – According to local media, the release is part of the second prisoner swap under a Gaza ceasefire agreement, which will also see the release of 200 Palestinians from Israeli jails in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, forcibly displaced from northern Gaza due to Israeli bombardment and evacuation threats, are hopeful of returning to their homes as the ceasefire continues to hold.
