At an Anglican church in Namugongo, Col. Edith Nakalema and her husband paid their respects to the late Rev. Eriyasafu Sserwadda. They were joined by high-ranking government officials, including Uganda Revenue Authority Commissioner General John R. Musinguzi, former Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) Executive Director Allen Kagina, Deputy Inspector General of Police Maj. Gen. Steven Sabiiti Muzeyi, Supreme Court judges, senior State House officials, and other distinguished citizens.

The memorial service also drew prominent media personalities, including New Vision’s Barbara Kaijja, BBC’s Allan Kasujja, BBS’s Steven Danistan Busuulwa, and HICGI News Agency’s Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, among others.

Col. Nakalema described her late father as humble, loving, peaceful, and an exemplary figure in both family and community.

The deceased will be burried today Monday in Bushari, Western Uganda.
