US President Donald Trump has announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to sign a “very big agreement” in the United States on Friday. The agreement, which has been under discussion between Washington and Kyiv, reportedly involves the sharing of Ukraine’s mineral wealth in exchange for past US financial aid and potential security guarantees.

Speaking about the deal, Trump stated, “We’ve been able to make a deal where we’re going to get our money back, and we’re going to get a lot of money in the future.” This suggests that the United States will benefit financially from Ukraine’s mineral resources as part of the agreement.
