Arua, Uganda – Preparations are underway for the International Leadership Summit 2025, a high-profile gathering set to convene from 8th to 10th May 2025 at Desert Breeze Hotel in Arua. With the theme “Excellence in Service,” drawn from Titus 2:7, the summit will bring together global leaders, pastors, educators, missionaries, and development partners to foster a new generation of servant-leaders committed to integrity and impact.
Now in its third year, the summit is organized by Jesus Cares Developmental Organisation (JCDO), a faith-based non-profit headquartered in Arua City. Under the stewardship of Bishop Dr. John Babu and Rev. Christine Babu, JCDO has made significant strides in humanitarian aid, education, refugee ministry, and leadership development across West Nile and Northern Uganda.

“This summit is more than a gathering—it’s a movement to inspire and empower leaders to transform their communities through Christ-centered service,” said Bishop Babu, who also serves as the African Representative for Pastores Internacionales De America (PIDA) and Region Beyond International.
Key themes of the summit will include leadership integrity, youth empowerment, excellence in education and ministry, and the role of faith in governance and global missions.
The summit will feature a distinguished lineup of guest speakers from around the world, including:
- Apostle Dr. Censor W. Gracia, President of PIDA USA
- Dr. Anil Kumar, President of Region Beyond International
- Rev. Dr. Sadrach F. Oloo, Lead Pastor of Agape Church, Kenya
- Pastor Adrian and Ruth Aganazi, missionaries from Argentina
- Dr. Hur Tae Yang, Korean missionary and Country Director of International Youth Fellowship Uganda
- Bishop Dr. Prof. Grace Kityo, former senior administrator at Makerere University
- Dr. Peter Ngum, International Director of Mt. Zion University (USA/Cameroon)
- Rev. Prof. Steven Nadiope Babi, True Vine Ministry Uganda
- Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Odama, Hanamel Gospel Ministries, Uganda
- Rev. Dr. Prof. Moses Chalwe, Vice Chancellor of Potami International University, Zambia
The event’s Chief Guest will be Hon. Grace Freedom Kwiyucwiny, Senior Presidential Advisor and former Minister of State for Northern Uganda.
A special Ordination and Awards Ceremony will be held on the final day, 10th May, to recognize outstanding contributions to ministry and leadership.
Participation fees are set at UGX 50,000 for local attendees, UGX 100,000 for VIP access, and $50 for international guests.
Organizers say the summit will serve as a strategic platform to equip leaders with practical tools, spiritual insight, and global networks to effect meaningful change.
