Ruben Amorim’s side take on Tottenham in Bilbao on Wednesday night, bidding to win a first European trophy since they lifted the same cup in 2017.
Victory would also see United qualify for next season’s Champions League despite a woeful domestic season.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Neville said If Manchester United win, they’ll celebrate a trophy but there will be a cautious celebration tomorrow not by the fans, though, because they’ll obviously go crazy.
Their interviews will be along the lines of them saying that they’re so happy and delighted for the fans, but it’s been a difficult season.

That will be the tone of it. I don’t think there should be a parade through the city for them winning the Europa League.”
United sit 16th in the Premier League table only two places above the relegation zone and are set for their lowest finish in the top flight since 1974, when they were relegated from the old First Division.
Amorim’s team have won only 10 of their 37 matches so far and lost 18, with no wins in their last eight league fixtures.
The Europa League has been a different story, though, with their extraordinary 7-6 aggregate win in the quarter-finals over Lyon followed by a dominant victory against Athletic Club to book a return to Bilbao.
Ange Postecoglou was combative, insisting he will never be a clown in response to media criticism, while Heung-Min Son and Pedro Porro talked up the importance of staying focused on the task at hand, with little desire to entertain other matters.
Manchester United seemed a little more relaxed, with Bruno Fernandes joking that his manager, Ruben Amorim, should be under pressure, while Harry Maguire discussed the possibility of playing up front.
I’m already leaning towards a Manchester United win and being in both press conferences on Tuesday has done little to change my mind. I think Amorim’s side might just edge it.
We need to be excited and confident, but we already know the problems.
There are a lot of things we need to change in our club; the way we do everything in the week at Carrington, the recruitment, the academy, I think we need to improve.
It’s hard to point at one thing and that will not be solved by winning a cup.
We have bigger things to deal with to put this club back to the top. Tomorrow will be important for us, for our fans. That feeling of winning can help us to have the strength to do every job we have to do.
We have a lot to do at our club, not just winning tomorrow.
Every game you have a chance to win a trophy is very big. But every game at this club is massive.
This club is so big that one week you can be the hero and the next one you are the villain.
We are just thinking about what we have ahead of us and that is to get our hands on the trophy.

It won’t change the past, but can it affect the future? Probably yes.
Winning a competition gives a lot of things revenue for the club, a place in the Champions League, more players wanting to come to the club, even though every player wants to play for this club anyway because of the name.
But the main thing is to focus on what we have ahead, a massive final against a team we know very well. It’s going to be completely different game from the Premier League.
When you play for this club, you want to win every football match and this season we’ve been far too inconsistent, we haven’t won enough in the Premier League. It’s not been good enough, we know that.
The Europa League has been different. We’ve performed at a high level and we have proven again this season we can beat anybody.
“I’m sure, next season, we will improve an awful amount, with a full pre-season and, as players, we’re all looking forward to that, but we’ve got a big game tomorrow night, first and foremost.”
It’s a special night, a special occasion. We’ve prepared well and it’s one we’re looking forward to.
“Tomorrow we have a big chance to win a trophy. Our aim since the beginning of the season was to be here in the final in Bilbao. We have a big game, a big final, and a big opportunity to get silverware.”
