Juba, South Sudan- Renowned American televangelist Dr. Michelle Corral has successfully concluded her two-day missionary visit to South Sudan, where she led the 2nd Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference at Juba Christian Centre. The event drew over 1,000 pastors from both urban centers and remote areas across the country.

During her stay, Dr. Corral held a private prayer session with South Sudan’s First Lady, Maj. Gen. Mary Mayardit, wife of President Salva Kiir, at the State House. She also visited Vice President Gen. Rebecca Nyandeng de Mabior, widow of the late President Dr. John Garang, for a time of prayer at her residence in Juba.

On the final day of the conference, Dr. Corral conducted a powerful healing and deliverance service for pastors and conference delegates. Many attendees reported experiencing instant healing during the session.

Among the individuals she ministered to was a malnourished toddler whose caregiver explained that the child had refused to eat since the passing of her grandmother a month prior, often crying at her grave. Dr. Corral not only prayed for the child but also pledged to cover her medical expenses.

She also prayed for Bishop Tomson Byamugisha, the head of the Pastors Fraternity in Makindye Ssabagabo, Uganda. Dr. Corral declared that God had preserved his life for the sake of revival in Uganda and East Africa. Bishop Byamugisha, a Member of the advisory Council and intercessor to Corral, had recently been hospitalized in Nairobi, Kenya for several months undergoing complex medical treatment.

The conference was graced by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Moses Clarie, Director of Bureau from the Office of the President, and a Minister from the Central Equatoria State. High-ranking military officials, government personnel, bishops, and other esteemed guests were also in attendance.

Former Muslim Cleric Testifies After Converting to Christianity

Sheikh Mujahid, a former Muslim cleric, during the conference publicly testified about his newfound faith in Jesus Christ following his conversion to Christianity. He confessed that in the past, he had persecuted pastors and burnt numerous churches. Now, he says, his life has been completely transformed — comparing his journey to that of the Apostle Paul, who was once Saul, a fierce persecutor of Christians before his dramatic conversion.

In a heartfelt gesture, Dr. Corral personally distributed new clothing, including jackets, to several pastors. Additionally, at a local church in Juba pastored by Ambassador Joseph Lupai, the lead host of the South Sudan mission, the Breath of the Spirit Ministries team—led by Rev. Dr. Gregory Rhea—provided food donations to hundreds of children.

Speaking to HICGI News Agency in Juba, Dr. Corral expressed her faith and optimism:
“God is going to answer the prayers of South Sudan.”
She also lauded Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, L.H.D. (Hon.), for being a blessing to the Body of Christ.

Dr. Corral is scheduled to minister at a healing and deliverance service on Wednesday night, hosted by Bishop Charles Matuku, before returning to the United States.

According to Rev. Christopher Stamps, Director of Operations at Breath of the Spirit Ministries, Dr. Corral will return to East Africa for a humanitarian mission in Uganda this August. In October, she will hold the Ethiopia Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference, before concluding the year with another humanitarian mission at Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement, located at the DRC-Uganda-South Sudan border.
