ALGIERS – Algeria is set to host the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF-2025) from 4th to 10th September 2025, a flagship continental event aimed at boosting intra-African trade and investment.

The trade fair is being organized by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, and is expected to attract high-level participation across the continent.
The draft programme includes a Presidential segment on the opening day, followed by a Ministerial segment involving Ministers of Foreign Trade. Throughout the week, the event will feature a wide range of economic, commercial, and cultural activities.

African Heads of State and Government will be invited to participate, in a bid to reinforce their commitments from previous editions. Invitations will also be extended to key continental figures, including the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and former President of Niger, H.E. Mahamadou Issoufou, who serves as the AU Champion for the AfCFTA.
Uganda, along with other member states and relevant stakeholders, has also received an invitation to mobilize participation in this strategic trade platform. The IATF provides a critical opportunity to promote intra-African trade, attract investment, enhance economic integration, and support the realization of Agenda 2063—Africa’s blueprint for inclusive and sustainable development.
The Algerian government is committed to ensuring the success of IATF-2025, prioritizing logistical excellence and broad participation. Governments, institutions, companies, exhibitors, researchers, media, and economic operators are encouraged to register through the official event portal: http://2025.iatf.africa/newfront.
The remainder of the programme, running from September 5th to 10th, will feature a series of conferences, panel discussions, exhibitions, and B2B meetings. A detailed schedule will be released once finalized.
Through hosting this continental event, Algeria reaffirms its commitment to African economic integration, industrial sovereignty, and the creation of mutually beneficial inter-African partnerships.
HICGI News Agency will continue to provide updates on this important development.
