Brentford, London — Brentford Football Club has officially appointed Mark Andrews as the club’s new head coach, ushering in a new era for the Bees as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season.

The announcement was made this morning via the club’s official channels, ending weeks of speculation following the departure of Thomas Frank, who left the club earlier this month to pursue new opportunities abroad.
Andrews, 42, brings with him a strong track record, having previously served as assistant manager at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he was praised for his tactical acumen, player development, and attacking style of play. This marks his first role as head coach in the Premier League.
In his first statement as Brentford manager, Andrews said:
“It’s a tremendous honour to join a club with such passion, ambition, and identity. I’ve admired Brentford’s philosophy for years and look forward to building on the solid foundations already in place. The Premier League is a challenge I embrace fully.”

Club Chairman Cliff Crown expressed confidence in the appointment:
“Mark stood out during the recruitment process with his vision, energy, and understanding of Brentford’s culture. We believe he is the right leader to take the team forward.”
Fans have taken to social media to share their excitement, with many praising the club’s bold move to appoint a progressive, forward-thinking coach.
Andrews is expected to take charge of pre-season training next week, with the club set to announce its summer transfer plans in the coming days.
