Renowned American televangelist and humanitarian, Dr. Michelle Corral, is preparing for a return mission to Uganda, where she will lead a major outreach effort in the Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement, located near the borders of Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and South Sudan.
The Refugee Mission, scheduled for August 9–12, 2025, will provide humanitarian support to more than 5,000 refugees, including feeding programs, a medical camp, and a conference for local pastors.
Bidi Bidi, Africa’s largest refugee settlement and once the world’s largest, currently hosts over 1.5 million displaced persons. Dr. Corral’s upcoming visit marks her second mission to the camp and comes at a time when Uganda is grappling with severe funding shortages for refugee support due to significant cuts in international aid.
According to a recent UNHCR statement, the discontinuation of aid—linked in part to decisions made during the administration of former U.S. President Donald Trump—has critically impacted the agency’s ability to care for refugees and maintain essential operations.

Dr. Corral’s humanitarian efforts have previously earned her recognition from Uganda’s First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni, who praised her for her contributions to refugee welfare and spiritual upliftment.

Her mission to Uganda follows a recent trip to South Sudan, where she ministered to over 1,000 pastors and held high-level meetings with the First Lady and Vice President of South Sudan.

She latter , she conducted a powerful healing and anointing service in Nairobi, Kenya, attracting hundreds of worshippers.

HICGI News Agency will provide exclusive coverage and updates on this upcoming mission.
