Renowned American televangelist and humanitarian, Dr. Michelle Corral, is set to arrive at Entebbe International Airport on Monday, 11th August 2025, as part of a humanitarian return mission to Uganda.

Dr. Corral will spearhead a major outreach initiative in Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement, located near Uganda’s borders with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and South Sudan. The mission—scheduled to run from August 11th to 12th, 2025—will serve over 10,000 refugees, offering vital humanitarian assistance including food distribution, a medical camp, and a leadership conference for local pastors.
The Government of Uganda, through the Office of the Prime Minister, has granted Dr. Corral official clearance to conduct the mission.
Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, President of Heal The Planet Global Organisation (HTP) and coordinator of the mission, confirmed that preparations are in full swing. “This vital aid from the American people is eagerly awaited, especially as many refugees are currently struggling to meet basic needs like food,” Dr. Kivumbi said during an earlier briefing.

Bidi Bidi, Africa’s largest refugee settlement and formerly the largest in the world, currently hosts more than 1.5 million displaced persons. Dr. Corral’s visit marks her second humanitarian mission to the camp and comes at a critical time, as Uganda faces a significant shortfall in international funding for refugee support programs.
