Bidibidi, West Nile, Uganda – Dr. Michelle Corral, an American philanthropist, prophetess, and televangelist, has returned to the United States after leading a transformative humanitarian mission in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, West Nile, near the borders of South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The mission, hosted by Jesus Cares Developmental Organisation (JCDO) under the leadership of Bishop John Matogo Babu, was carried out in partnership with Breath of the Spirit Ministries and Chessed Charity, with support from Heal the Planet. It combined spiritual renewal with life-saving humanitarian interventions that touched thousands of refugees.
Pastors and Leaders Conference

The program opened with a historic Pastors and Leaders Conference that drew more than 1000 pastors and church leaders from within the settlement and surrounding communities. Dr. Corral’s teachings empowered participants to strengthen their leadership roles, bringing unity across denominations and regions. Delegates described the event as “life-transforming,” with renewed commitment to ministry and community leadership.
Medical Camp

Recognizing urgent healthcare needs in the settlement, a two-day medical camp served more than 815 refugees. Patients received free consultations, treatment, and medication from volunteer medical professionals. Lives were saved, and many were restored to health.
Feeding Program

In one of the most remarkable highlights, 10,000 refugees—men, women, children, and the elderly—were served a wholesome meal. The feeding was met with overwhelming joy, as families expressed gratitude for this tangible demonstration of love and compassion.
Weekly Food Support Initiative

Dr. Corral also launched a weekly household food distribution program targeting 150 families most affected by hunger, following a drastic reduction of food aid by UNHCR. The initiative comes amid alarming reports of over 10 suicides and more than 30 attempted suicides linked to food shortages in the settlement. The program aims to provide both nourishment and hope to struggling households.
Community Response
Pastor Anthony Felix of Antioch World Harvest Church, speaking on behalf of pastors and leaders in Bidibidi, praised the mission:
“It was an honor to witness a monumental gathering of bishops, archbishops, pastors, and ministry workers united in worship and intercession. Dr. Michelle’s prophetic message brought hope and reassurance, reminding us that God is working to transform South Sudan and the region.”
The refugee community also shared heartfelt gratitude for the gifts, medical care, and food supplies, describing them as a powerful testament to the love of Christ in action.
A Call for Global Support
At Entebbe International Airport before her departure, Dr. Corral seen off by Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, President of Heal the Planet Global Organisation (HTP) and cordinator of her missions in Africa, she pledged to lobby the United States Government to increase support for refugees in Uganda.
“For the first time, I am going to become an advocate. I am going to lobby the U.S. Government to support refugees in Uganda,” Dr. Corral said.
She also lauded the office of the Prime Minister and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for according her permission and diplomatic reception.
Dr. Corral came with 50 daffle bags with aid worth $200, 000
