President Bola Tinubu’s aides’ claim that global outrage from Christians in America and across the world over the brutal killings of believers in Nigeria is “fake” is both reckless and unacceptable. Such remarks not only trivialize the suffering of thousands but also expose the government’s alarming detachment from reality.
Nigeria’s rightful demand for a Permanent African Seat on the @UN Security Council and its criticism of the ongoing war in Gaza cannot serve as excuses to ignore the escalating persecution of Christians at home. The wave of religiously motivated violence—churches torched, worshippers massacred, pastors abducted and executed—continues unchecked while authorities remain indifferent.
President Donald Trump’s recent military deployment to confront Islamic extremists should not be mistaken for political theatre. It is a moral and humanitarian necessity triggered by Nigeria’s failure to protect its own citizens.

President Bola Tinubu has either failed or refused to act decisively against the perpetrators of these atrocities. The blood of innocent men, women, and children cries out for justice. The United States, as the leader of the free world, cannot remain a bystander. Military intervention is no longer just an option—it has become an obligation in defense of human life and freedom of belief.
No person should ever be persecuted or killed for their faith. In an interview I conducted with a former Muslim cleric in Sudan who converted to Christianity, he revealed that hundreds of churches have been burned and countless pastors murdered. This pattern of religious persecution sweeping across Africa demands a strong and coordinated international response.

Those in positions of power bear the duty to protect life, liberty, and faith. When they fail or refuse to do so, the world must not remain silent. International intervention is not interference—it is a moral duty to uphold humanity’s most sacred right: the right to live and worship freely.
