In his eulogy, Dr. Nsababuturo repeatedly emphasized the message of national unity, saying, “We are one people,” and urged Ugandans to remain united during times of grief and beyond.

Standing alongside his wife, Edith Buturo, an Under Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, and Col. Edith Nakalema, Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, Dr. Nsababuturo revealed that two days before her death, Racheal had suffered from severe migraines.

Mrs. Buturo told mourners that Racheal died peacefully at UPDF Referral Hospital, where she had been admitted and was being prepared for further medical investigations. The family later learned that the postponed medical procedure revealed an undiagnosed brain tumor.
