After a disappointing defeat to Police, KCCA co-coach Brian Ssenyondo has urged his players to bounce back ahead of their trip to Maroons on Wednesday.

The Kasasiros’ loss saw them miss an opportunity to retain top spot, but they now have a chance to get back on track against one of the toughest teams in the division.

Ssenyondo is fully aware of the challenge Maroons will present but remains determined to fight for all three points.
“The performance in our last match was unacceptable for a club of this stature,” he said during the pre-match press briefing. “We’ve made it clear to the players that we cannot represent KCCA FC in that manner again.”

“Luzira is never an easy place to visit, but we’ve worked on our game management. We’re going there to fight for every ball and ensure we bring something positive back to Lugogo,” he added.

KCCA and Maroons have drawn three times in their last five encounters, with each side winning once.

Ssenyondo will be boosted by the return of striker Emmanuel Anyama from suspension and defender Peter Magambo from injury, though Joao Gabriel and Ettiene Katenga remain in recovery.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, UPDF and Police will both play host to Entebbe UPPC and Calvary, respectively.
