LUBAGA- Uganda: Pentecostal cleric Apostle John Bunjo has urged Ugandans to return their focus to work now that the country’s political season has subsided.

Delivering a message to members of the Acrobatic Mission Fellowship (AMF) — a Kampala-based Christian business group — at the conclusion of their recent 40-day period of prayer and fasting, Bunjo cautioned entrepreneurs against mixing business with partisan politics.

“You are going to miss business if you discuss politics with customers whose political leaning you do not know. Some may be happy, others aggrieved. Once you introduce yellow or red issues, you risk losing them,” he said.

Bunjo, who leads CRM International in Bombo and is among the founders of AMF 26 years ago, also used the occasion to call on President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to use his seventh term in office to plan for a smooth national transition that safeguards peace and stability.

He noted that such a transition would help consolidate the gains Uganda has made over the past four decades of leadership.
Apostle Bunjo is widely known for his outspoken sermons and fervent prayers.
He was recently among pastors mobilised by Patience Rwabogo, who led President Museveni and First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni in a national prayer of repentance, during which the President sought forgiveness from Ugandans for past wrongs.
