Hundreds of messages are continuing to flow on social media of a woman who has been looked on by many as a mother to motherless just like Lisa has published she’s among the hundreds of beneficiaries who have gone through Annet Kayongo’s hands.
Philanthropist, Annet has been the Executive Director of New Hope Foundation, Senior Pastor of Believers Church in Nantabulirwa, Mukono, Director of New Hope Schools and a Business lady dealing in fashion designs.
During the Lord’s Resistance Army-LRA War of Joseph Kony in Northern Uganda, Annet picked hundreds of children who she brought to Nanatabulirwa and has been educating them most of whom finished school and others graduating this year.
Godfrey Kayongo Nkajja Chairman of St. Balikudembbe Market and Presidential Advisor on Markets in Uganda the husband of deceased is describing his fallen wife as the best gift God has ever given him. His children Barbra Kayongo, William Kayongo, Rodgers Kayongo, Lydia Kayongo and others who have been treating Annet in American hospitals are shot of words to describe their mother.
The American Government has been covering her medical bills exceeding 1 million U$ until the doctors could not any other medical remedy. She was brought back to Uganda and her bed room turned into medical facility where Ugandan Doctors have been stationed to try to treat her to the last second even when many of her vital body organs perished including liver, kidneys and others.
Speaking to HICGI News Agency, Kayongo has narrated the vicious agorny his wife has been experiencing.
Kayongo also last month who hosted Acrobatic Mission Fellowship a Business Club of Kampala Christian tycoons told the members led by their chairman Najja Nsubuga Mosoke Emmanuel II at his home that Annet’s cancer started when she gave birth to their last born in one Kampala hospital. The nurses were reckless before the doctor would come in the labour room and damaged the uterus which started rotting and latter developed into cancer.
Annet then started battling cancer while doing her charity work and business both in United States in Minnesota and in Kampala.
A special service in honor of Annet’s life is going on right now Sunday, 2nd September 2018 at Believers Church , Nantabulirwa and there after vigil at there home in Makindye Kizungu zone.
She will be brought to rest tomorrow Monday 3rd September 2018 at 4pm in Kakiri Kikandwa Lusanja on Hoima Rd Uganda.
