Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA, Executive director Dorothy Kisaka has earlier today (Sunday 11th April) took a drive through the City doing quality assurance checks on the different Infrastructure projects on John Babiha, Kulambiro, Ntinda- Nakawa, Old Port Bell, Lukuli & Lweza- Bunamwaya roads.
At John Babiha road in Kololo, Kisaka grilled Chinese Contractors for being negligent over open man holes which she said is putting the lives of people including children in a near by school at risk.

At John Babiha road , Kisaka grilled the Chinese contractors for open man holes, she ordered them to put safety nets and promised to return in 2 days to ensure this is fixed.
Speaking to HICGI News Agency, the Chinese safety supervisor said “We’re going to work on the safety nets and also ensure we meet the April deadline we’re required to finish the construction”
At Kulambilo, some citizens who spoke to HICGI News Agency expressed concern on street lights asking KCCA to fix them for their safety at night.
While at Ntinda, the ED asked vendors to vacate the streets and sell their items in the gazzated markets.
Residents in Makindye who spoke to HICGI News Agency said the delay for the completion of the Lukuli road is affecting their businesses.
The inspection of roads by KCCA director has given hope to the city dwellers in ensuring completion and safety concerns.
