Kabanda, Kisaka Pledge support to evicted Kampala Vendors

KAMPALA- The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA, Dorothy Kisaka has pledged to find solutions to pending issues like parking and partitioning of stalls in the USAFI market in Kampala.

This is part of the drive to relocate vendors who have been selling on Kampala’s streets following several months of warning them to vacate the streets.

Throughout the week security agencies including the police and army patrolled the streets to keep the vendors away.

On Wednesday the Minister for Kampala, Hon Hajjat Minsa Kabanda and KCCA ED, Dorothy Kisaka had a fruitful interaction with traders and taxi operators plying their trade in Usafi Park and Market.

HICGI News Agency has learnt of KCCA commitment to addressing the various issues gathered from this engagement to facilitate the smooth flow of business for a better city.
