Influential women in Uganda have been hosted by 88.8 CBS and 89.2 CBS Emanduso as part of celebrating the International Women’s Day 2022.
The official celebrations were conducted at Kololo Airstrip where President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni pledged to continue empowering women.
Uganda’s Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja arrived at CBS Fm Bulange, Mengo the Head Quayle’s of Buganda Kingdom 10 minutes to 9:00pm in Avon it amidst tight security.

Ugandans were surprised as Nabbanja broke the headlines on air reading several stories including her boss’s remarks on Women’s Day on CBS Fm which has the biggest listenship in Uganda .
Towards the end of the news Nabbanja said she was born to a poor woman who sold maize and bananas but God slowed her to become a big person.
She said her government has allocated billions of funding available for women to use to increase there income.
