Rosa Malango Jets in Uganda at the Invitation of President Museveni

United Nations Director Regional Commissions Rosa Malango on Sunday evening landed at Entebbe International Airport.

H.E Malango who once served as UN Resident Coordinator to Uganda and head of Security in the region was recieved by Special Forces Command- SFC an elite force that guards Uganda President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni amidst tight security and convoy.

A group of young people she also mentored including Youth Coalition for SDGs and Abazukuku were also present to welcome her to Uganda. Malango returns at the Invitation of President Museveni to discuss how regional commissions can support national efforts to develop a strategy to restore Uganda’s economy onto an inclusive growth path.

She is set to meet Museveni who has just returned from Vietnam on a 3 day State Visit.
