New Assignment Awaits you Prof Bukenya- Makabai Speaks out as Pastor Mitala and Bugingo ask EX VP to become Born Again.

Katomi Kingdom Resort on the shores of Lake Victoria was on Thursday 29th December 2022 taken up by City Pastors who joined EX Vice President Gilbert Bukenya Bukenya for Thanksgiving.

Bukenya who was jolly welcomed hundreds of people who flocked his Garuga based Resort. In his address Bukenya said he survived death when he was rushed in hospital with high blood pressure. “It was extreme that even the doctors shivered while trying to save my life. They could only carry me on a wheel chair at the time I arrived in the hospital and I told God, wether I survive or not, I lay my life in your hands.”

Bukenya disclosed that the year hasn’t been favorable with him economically “I used to give out millions but today even if you ask me 50k, I cannot because I don’t have it.”

“I have however called you here today to thank God because I have a reason. I specifically and intended to invite the BornAgains as much as I am a Catholic because I wanted to listen to your songs and and preachings, I chose you for a purpose.” Said Bukenya.

Bukenya also commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for taking through the country with visionary leadership in the most difficult times. “The President’s strategy was the finest as much as it wasn’t comfortable, COVID-19 needed his style of approach.” Bukenya said the pandemic terrified him as he lost 6 of his close best friends and when Ebola emerged feared the more.

In his key note address, Apostle Alex Mitala said he recieved a phone call one evening from Prof Bukenya when he was still Vice President. “If he introduced himself as Vice President, I was going to hang up because I couldn’t afford talk to a person of that caliber. He however introduced himself as ‘Jilibati’ and invited me for a dinner I have never had before.

He gave me land near his home in Rwampala, Kakiri and I constructed a church and several schools.” Narrated Mitala.

Mitala, introduced 7 pastors leading the churches in Kakiri and many students who have graduated as a result of one phone call he recieved from Bukenya.

“God showed me several years ago that you had given your life to him and am thinking this is near. Having been given another chance to live, you won’t get another chance therefore choose to accept Jesus.” Mitala spoke to Bukenya on the podium.

Holy City Church Pastor, Brother Ronnie Makabai disclosed that if it wasn’t for Bukenya they wouldn’t have there Radio Station Christ FM. “There were many people with big money to buy it but he chose to sell it to us because he loved the gospel.”

Makabai also attacked those discriminating him ” He is only God who can judge the one who is false or not.”

Makabai prophecied that Bukenya’s retirement is not yet as he has a task to do for the East African Integration.

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries and Founder of Salt Media pleaded with Bukenya to confess Jesus promptly but Bukenya said he is going to think about it.
” Professor, you’re not broke with all these assets you have, your’re not renting that a landlord will knock at your door every month; you have organic food to eat, there’s nothing much except to enjoy what God has granted you.” Said Bugingo.

Prof Simeon Kayiwa who earlier arrived in a convoy with UPDF Military officers guarding him decided to sing with his wife for Bukenya and latter invited his Namirembe Choir to sing also.

Kivumbi said when he met Bukenya prior to the Thanksgiving preparations, he had been inspired to read the scripture on the D Day and that what Makabai said was prophetic. “Bukenya’s new elevation is coming and time is now.” Kivumbi said.
