Results for the 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations are set to be released next week, according to Uganda National Examinations Board.
A total of 832,839 candidates sat for PLE from 14153 examination centres across the country.
Daniel Odong the UNEB Executive Director says the results shall be released before commencement of the 2023 academic year on 06th February.
Odong made the revelation while appearing before the parliamentary education committee to defend the institution’s budget framework paper for the 2023-2024 financial year.
The results were marked by 5,543 examiners at 13 examination marking centres. The examinations body has also concluded marking of examinations for UCE Candidates.
Before release of the results, UNEB will meet the minister of education for briefing and later announce the day of release of the exams.
