Tebboune Launches Gara Djebilet–Tindouf–Bechar Railway, Flags Off First Iron Ore Shipment.

BECHAR – Algeria President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday afternoon officially announced the launch of the new Gara Djebilet–Tindouf–Bechar railway line during a ceremony held in Bechar province.

The President as well chaired the ceremony marking the arrival of the train carrying these inaugural shipments.

Tebboune affirmed  that the inauguration of the Gara Djebilet–Tindouf–Bechar mining railway line represents the first phase of a major national structural project aimed at transforming Algeria’s mining and transport sectors.

He stated that the enduring message of Algeria’s martyrs remains a legacy that guarantees victory in the country’s ongoing battle for development. He described the Gara Djebilet–Tindouf–Bechar mining railway as a cornerstone of a strategic and historic national achievement.
