Larry Page has been reported as the world’s second-richest individual and among only a small number of people whose wealth is estimated to have surpassed $300 billion, marking a significant milestone in global wealth rankings.
When Forbes finalized its 2025 World’s Billionaires List in March, Page ranked No. 7, with an estimated net worth of $144 billion. A decade earlier, he was placed at No. 19, reflecting the sharp rise in his fortune over time. His wealth has grown significantly in recent years alongside Alphabet’s strong market performance, driven by continued dominance in digital advertising and the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence technologies across its product ecosystem.

Page co-founded Google in 1998 with fellow Stanford Ph.D. student Sergey Brin. He served as chief executive officer from 2001, and later again from 2011 to 2015.
He currently sits on the board of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, and remains a controlling shareholder, maintaining significant influence over the company’s long-term direction despite stepping away from day-to-day operations.
He is also reportedly involved in a new artificial intelligence venture, Dynatomics, which is focused on applying AI to product manufacturing and industrial innovation.
In late 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice proposed that Google be required to divest its Chrome browser as part of a broader effort to address concerns over the company’s dominance in online search and digital markets. Google rejected the proposal, arguing that such a move would harm consumers and undermine U.S. technological leadership. The high-profile antitrust case was closely watched across the tech industry. In a major ruling in September 2025, a federal judge decided that Google would not be required to sell Chrome.

Beyond Google, Page has invested in several ambitious frontier technologies. He was a founding investor in asteroid mining company Planetary Resources, which was later acquired by blockchain firm ConsenSys in 2018.
More recently, Page has reportedly purchased a residence in Florida, amid broader debates in California over potential changes to wealth taxation policies affecting high-net-worth individuals.
Page is also widely known for maintaining a low public profile, rarely engaging in interviews or public commentary despite his continued influence in global technology and business circles.
