Religious leaders from Uganda and across East Africa, alongside international guests, gathered for a conference focused on faith, service and supporting vulnerable communities.

Dr. Ernest Kivumbi Benjamin welcomed Dr. Michelle Corral to the conference. In his remarks, Dr. Kivumbi said the Vice President of Heal the Planet Joan Ross connected him to Dr. Corral.

He also highlighted the impact of the ministry, noting that over the three times it has taken place, the initiative has changed people’s lives by providing essential support and necessities to people living in refugee camps.

Dr. Kivumbi also gave pastors and other religious leaders attending the conference an opportunity to introduce themselves.
Among those introduced were Rev. Dr. Triumph from Nigeria, Bishop Joseph Morema from Kenya, Pastor Margaret from Mombasa, Bishop Oscar Elias from Tanzania, Bishop John Babu from Arua, Uganda, Bishop Thomson Byamugisha from Uganda, and Bishop Charles from Kenya, alongside other representatives from Mombasa and other areas.

During the conference, Dr. Michelle Corral shared teachings with the congregation, drawing lessons from the Book of Psalms.
She also shared a message about using personal achievements to create opportunities for others.

“My success is not about me, but it’s about opening doors for others,” she said.
The conference brought together religious leaders from different countries, providing a platform for fellowship, teaching and discussions on ways faith communities can continue supporting people in need. Dr Corral said.

The conference concluded with a call for religious leaders to use their influence and resources to uplift vulnerable communities and create opportunities for those in need. Dr. Michelle Corral also prayed for members of the congregation, with several participants testifying to receiving healing. The conference ended with an emphasis on faith, service and the importance of opening doors for others.
