Heal The Planet urges the world not to repay evil with evil as humanity remembers victims of the September 11 attacks

KAMPALA, UGANDA — September 13, 2026:
As the world commemorates the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States, Heal The Planet Global Organisation (HTP), in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations, has called on the international community to renew its commitment to peace, tolerance, dialogue and restraint.

In a statement published on the organisstion website http://www.healdeplanet.org, HTP says; September 11, 2001, remains one of the darkest and most devastating days in modern history. The coordinated terrorist attacks shocked the United States and the entire world, resulting in the loss of thousands of innocent lives and profoundly changing the global security landscape.

On this solemn anniversary, HTP remembers all the innocent victims of terrorism and violence, while calling upon world leaders, governments, communities and individuals to reject hatred and the cycle of retaliation.

“We must never repay evil with evil. Differences between nations, communities and individuals can be addressed through dialogue, diplomacy, mutual respect and peaceful engagement,” HTP said.
The organisation emphasised that while the world must remain vigilant against terrorism and all forms of violence, the pursuit of security should go hand in hand with respect for human dignity, justice and peaceful coexistence.

HTP President Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, L. H. D (Hon.) further called for greater tolerance among people of different cultures, religions, political views and nationalities, stressing that peaceful dialogue remains one of humanity’s most powerful tools for resolving conflicts.
“Tolerance is the mother of peace, and dialogue is the pathway to lasting solutions,” the organisation stated.

As the world remembers those who lost their lives on September 11 and in other acts of terrorism around the globe, HTP urged humanity to transform the pain of the past into a renewed determination to build a more peaceful future.

The organisation called upon the international community to choose peace over hatred, dialogue over confrontation, reconciliation over revenge, and unity over division.
