In his message a few hours ago Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin former Kampala Central Member of Parliament Aspirant and EX Deputy Spokesman/ National Coordinator 2011 and has been vying for the same position has said;

I would like to Inform you that the President of the Most Powerful Nation His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has Willed and Considered that I do not Run for Member of Parliament Kampala Central 2016, 7 days ahead of the nomination. Its now confirmed that Kivumbi, 26 is no longer as he has said earlier
It should be noted that some time back Kivumbi met President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni but had earlier been had in papers lamenting. Were not certain if Museveni the President of Uganda has cleared Kivumbi.
Unlike EX Vice President Professor Gilbert Bukenya and former Mayor Nasser Ntege Ssebagala who has reconciled with President Museveni, Kivumbi had remained a strong supporter and defender of Museveni only that he had chosen to contest for on Independent Ticket which he has decided to change mind.
We shall give the latest on Kivumbi decision on the subject.
