M7 meets US & UK Diplomats; discuss peace & human rights ahead of UG 2021 elections.

Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta T Museveni has a few hours ago (10:00am EAT Monday 7th December 2020) met the United Kingdom Special Envoy delegation headed by special envoy H.E Robert Fairweather OBE and High Commissioner-designate H.E Kate Airey OBE.

In the same meeting was the United States Special Representative delegation headed by Special Representative H.E Amb. Stuart Symington IV and Ambassador-designate H.E Natalie E. Brown.

They have discussed issues of bilateral interest.

HICGI News Agency has also learnt that the diplomats have requested Museveni to ensure a violent free and fair elections in January year 2021.

Human rights concerns have also been adressed by the envoys with a retaliation from the head of state that his government observes the rights of citizens including those opposing it.
