Kitante Market under Construction

KAMPALA- Updated on Wednesday 14, July 2021

Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA has inspected the process of construction work of Kitante Market. In a statement released on Monday, KCCA said Phase 1 of the construction of the Market is complete. This phase includes foundation, retaining & boundary walls and 5 levels.

HICGI News Agency has learnt that Phase 2 will cater for the remaining building works; finishes & fittings, water supply & electrical installations among others.

KCCA Executive Director, Mrs Dorothy Kisaka late 2021 toured several markets in Kampala to implement President Museveni’s Directive of taking over of Kampala Markets by Government.
