Former Kawempe South MP Hon Mubarak Munyagwa has come out to criticize the National Unity Platform (NUP) for lacking a sense of direction as far as the struggle to oust Gen Museveni is concerned.
According to Munyagwa, NUP seems not to know what to do and always acts in panic to show the people they are doing something yet in reality they are doing nothing.
Munyagwa cited two scenarios where the NUP leadership started to traverse the country after seeing former FDC President Dr. Kizza Besigye kifefe launching the Red card front which they thought was going to overshadow their popularity among the masses as soon as Besigye relaxed a bit to give them the way, they also decided to relax.
Munyagwa also cited the recent scenario of how the Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba led the opposition MPs out of Parliament protesting against the continued detention and torture of opposition supporters in the various detention centers across the Country
Munyagwa says this was a panic move after the NUP leadership saw MP Abed Bwanika making controversial statements asking them to dialogue with the NRM-led government so that political prisoners are freed.

Munyagwa says with such kind of moves, there is totally no achievement that has been registered so far and if things continue in such a manner, Ugandans will remain disappointed.
Munyagwa also hinted on the fact that many opposition MPs are already compromised by the regime and thus they are not willing to support any efforts to oust the regime out of power.
“Some have already bought houses in the US. They are heavily funded by the regime. It’s a pity.” Munyagwa said
Munyagwa a member of Forum for Democratic Change lost his MP seat to NUP’s Haj Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira in the 2021 polls.
This one better be advised that NUP knows how to make him jobless and desperate!! A man who could not produce a committee report in two and a half years when he chaired COSASE needs to immediately shut up for his own good, “Hon Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba” Responded to Former MP Munyagwa Mubarak.
