Uganda woke up to the tragic news following the demise of NTV journalist Edward Muhumuza who was killed in an accident on the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway on Saturday morning.

Statement on Entebbe Expressway Fatal Accident

The traffic police in Entebbe has this morning, 25th.March, 2023, registered a single fatal accident at around 0820hrs at Mpala opposite Mpala Road Toll along Kampala-Entebbe express highway. involving motor vehicle reg No. UBG 323S (Passo) that was being driven by a one Muhumuza Edward, a 32 year old Journalist working with NTV Uganda.

It’s alleged he lost control of his vehicle and went off the a
road, knocked sign post and overturned several times, killing him on spot.

The cause of the accident has been attributed to over speeding. However, more Inquiries are still at hand.

His body has been conveyed to City Mortuary for postmortem examination.
